Glock 17 C - The first Gen 3 was great, my wife and I were happy out of the box. Forgiveness is so simple that it doesn't take much to do well. 2k round with strong tungsten guide rod and long gun rear sights. It's easy for anyone to learn a lot except for a few hidden gems.
I bought a 1 17 gen in the late 90's early 90's. I put a lot of rounds into it and it performs like a champ every time. I have a lot of guns. But my secret is involved.

This is one of the best 9mm pistols out there. I know there are many, and the Glock 19 is #1 in Rhe in the US, but a light, thin, fully concealable 9mm Glock 17 Gen 4 with a breech back feels good because NATO FMJs work well and are not wasted. High pressure for proper ammunition preparation. I usually use the NATO 239 grain .45 acp Glock 21 model, but this is my 2nd favorite. I haven't tried the Gen 5 and the Gen 4 is more comfortable with duty sized Glocks. A good recovery team can help with FTE problems or discharge problems.

The reliability of the G17 is unquestionable; what's not to like bad weather? Take a look. Is it cleaning or just the beginning of the market? Take a look. Original "plastic"? Take a look. I bought it without knowing its history. I have modified the amplifiers and amplifiers to include the fiber optic features. 100% safe! I have had it for about 7 years. Steel body, factory rework and vintage bullets - eat it and spit it out! I have a collection of guns and buy them but keep them.
I bought a G17, Gen4 for 9mm single action for range use. I used to run a double action .40 cal. Shooting is easy and feels great. Various rear cables with connectors are installed. I built the Ultimate Pyramid Flat Face Trigger Assembly, Extended Slide Release and Optic Sights. However, it shoots very well straight out of the box. I got about $900 for this gun, which I think is a fair price for the needs. Perfect for the hand, accurate, low throw, short trigger interval and quick reset, good balance and reliable. The top shot is smooth, but not great for concealed carry. It's good on the site and used during tak ops. Recommend this gun for the new or experienced shooter.
Great rifle never tried to stop it firing 4 18 rounds so it would never be accurate or balanced.
I've had a Gen4 Glock 17 for years and I think it's one of the best 9mm pistols on the market today. I built the Ultimate Pyramid Trigger Assembly and fiber optic sights. These options only increase the capabilities of this weapon. In addition, the large back strap and raccoon tail provide a good feel and comfort. Due to the design angle and size, it is comfortable and easy to hold the handle well. Of course, this is very important to get accurate alignment for a quick shot at the target. As a work weapon, it's light enough to not get tired of carrying a heavy weapon all day. Accuracy in general or during planning is very good. Shooting right or left handed is not a problem as it is balanced. I've never had a problem with close-up shots or rapid fire. Above all, I recommend this pistol for home defense, business, or competition shooting.

Now it's 2015 and my friends and I don't have oil or cleanser and we won't have any anytime soon. It was the British army and we were glad that we had not cleaned our rifles and that the gun exploded after a few shots like an unfired second engine. I've changed relationships and personals, and this has gone on and on and I've been in a whole relationship. To this day, I have nightmares about being given this gun and how it saved my life.

Have had a Glock 17, Gen 4 for about 5 years. To this day, I use my work for many reasons; length, accuracy, flexibility, weight, roundness, balance, etc. Pyramid Trigger, TruGlo Optical Sights, Stainless Steel Competition Spring Reset and Ribbon. These are all sold out. The availability of "back strap" options provides excellent comfort for the pistol in my hand. Having owned several other pistols, the Glock 17, Gen 4 is my "go-to" pistol and I always feel confident with it.
